Recruitment Methodology for Retained and Contingency Assignments
When Incarter International acts for a client on a search for a candidate the following procedure is used. We can act on retained or contingency basis. On the retained basis we follow steps 1-6. For contingency assignments steps 2-4 are curtailed and CVs are produced directly for assessment by the client.
1. In-depth review of clients' activities, plans and organisational structures. Incarter provides detailed Job Specification, This is agreed with client as basis of search immediately upon acceptance of the proposal.
2. Incarter provides the client with an initial long list of potential candidates drawn up with outline profiles as appropriate.
3. Incarter provides consultation with client in order to identify those candidates the executive search consultant shall initially approach or follow up wirh on the client's behalf.
4. Shortlist drawn up. Incarter then provides the client with CVs, in-depth candidate interview notes and any relevant market research on candidates.
5. Incarter organises interviews for client and remains involved throughout the interview and negotiation process; advising the client and ensuring communication between client and candidate. Incarter provides an early warning system, identifying any issues that could lead to subsequent problems.
6. Consultant remains actively involved during offer and resignation process; advising the client on correct level of compensation package; assisting candidate through the difficult period of resignation, and potential counter-offers.
